FCA brings Florida baseball players to Rabun

SKY VALLEY — Fellowship of Christian Athletes leaders Jason Schack and Jason Arnold wanted to give their group of Florida high school baseball players a chance to get away, while getting closer to their faith. Twenty-five student-athletes from Brevard County, Fla.

CLAYTON— Beechwood Inn is known as Georgia’s premier wine country inn and has once again been honored for its wine program with the Wine Spectator Restaurant Award of Excellence for 2019.

A year later, SDS is still stalled

CLAYTON—More than a year after all parties agreed on a mediator to lead proceedings in the costly Service Delivery Strategy (SDS) dispute between the county, the city of Clayton and other municipalities, the matter is no closer to being resolved. In fact, mediation hasn’t even started.

MOUNTAIN CITY—Rabun County history came alive on a muggy July evening last Saturday night. An overflow crowd sweated, stomped and danced with enthusiasm not seen since the original Mountain City Saturday night dances stopped decades ago.
