TFS students bring ‘The Secret Garden’ to life on stage in the student-led production

“The Secret Garden,” adapted from the beloved children’s book by author Frances Hodgson Burnett, came to life onstage at Tallulah Falls School’s Gertrude Long Harris Theatre Feb. 13-15. Junior Jo Newell of Sautee directed the eight-member cast in the production of Jerry Montoya’s play.

Rabun FFA Livestock Judging Team takes first

The Rabun County FFA Livestock Judging Team finished in first place at the Area 2 Livestock Evaluation Career Development Event on Tuesday, Feb. 11. This team consisted of Peyton Hicks, Sarah Perteet, Eli Owens and Taylor Bush.

BOE votes to opt-out of HB 581

Rabun County Board of Education members officially voted unanimously to opt out of the HB 581 Floating Homestead Exemption during a special called meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Board members did not vote to opt out of homestead exemption altogether, just specifically HB 581.
