(Walhalla, SC)-- The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and Oconee County Emergency Services are reporting two missing hikers were located the afternoon of Sunday, April 6. Carrell Wayne Fowler, 77, and Sharon Kay Bramlett, 68, were located on April 6 around 12:30 p.m.

Traditions Bank opens new branch in Clarkesville, Ga.

A Stoney’s sign hangs in the new bank’s conference room to commemorate the historic restaurant as a token of history and homage to the family business. The new Traditions Bank branch is built on the property that used to be Stoney’s, a restaurant that served the Clarkesville, Ga.

Local nonprofit Freedom Ministries Lighthouse, Inc. has announced an expansion of services with Women of Worth (WOW) Recovery, Rabun County’s first residential, substance-abuse campus strictly for women. “It’s finally happening,” said Ashley York, director of WOW Recovery.
