Hurt Jr. sworn-in as Rabun County Assistant Magistrate Judge

James W. Hurt, Jr. was recently appointed as Assistant Magistrate Judge for the Magistrate Court of Rabun County. He was sworn-in on Friday, April 11, by Rabun County Probate Judge Savannah Dixon at the Probate office. Hurt joins other Assistant Magistrate Judge C.

The North Georgia Arts Guild presented the Sassafras Artisan Market April 26 and 27 and the event featured many creative artists, familiar exhibitors and some new exhibitors. Event-goers enjoyed original, hand-made works of art from more than 50 artists.
