Spaghetti dinner fundraiser raises $4,550 for Rabun Paws 4 Life

Community members raised a fork to a great cause Aug. 21 as the quarterly Spaghetti Dinner Raise a Fork for Great Causes fundraiser at Clayton Cafe & Market benefitted Rabun Paws 4 Life. The event raised $4,550 with Poss Realty volunteering to serve the food.

Over 65 businesses attend digital marketing bootcamp

Clayton council passes 30-day moratorium on specific-density units

CLAYTON– Zoning was on the agenda during Tuesday’s Clayton City Council meeting as council members passed a 30-day moratorium on the acceptance of permit applications for developments of a greater density than six detached units per acre.

Mountain City adopts Tiny Home Ordinance

The city of Mountain City adopted a Tiny Home Ordinance at Tuesday’s council meeting that regulates the construction and placement of tiny houses within the city limits of Mountain City. Council members gave brief discussion before unanimously voting to approve the ordinance.
