Clayton council passes first reading of ‘No Left Turn to Park’ ordinance

Bradford Pear trees located near the Rabun County Public Library and Rabun County Tax Commissioner’s Office were recently cut down due to safety reasons and an expansion of the parking area. The trees are classified by the Georgia Forestry Commission as an “invasive” plant.

Megan Broome/The Clayton Tribune. Crews continue work on construction of the 750,000 gallon ground-level water storage tank located on Yorkhouse Road in Rabun Gap. It is scheduled to be completed and on line in late September-early October 2023, with a 90-day function testing period to follow.
