North Georgia Community Players to hold two weekends of holiday performances

COVID-19 did not give people a reason to dance, sing or watch a theatrical performance. But the North Georgia Community Players have returned. The 20-year organization will present a production in Dillard on Dec. 3, 4 and 5 and Dec. 10, 11 and 12.

Blossman Gas participating in Toy for Tots

Blossman Gas & Appliance, located at 66 Rickman Dr., Clayton, has teamed up with Toys for Tots this holiday season. The goal of the Toys for Tots Program, which was started by the U.S. Marine Corps, is to collect new toys and distribute them to less fortunate children for Christmas.

Rabun County home "total loss" after fire

CLAYTON-- A fire at a Clayton residence Nov. 17 that displaced a family of four, two adults and two children, was deemed a “total loss,” according to a statement from Justin Upchurch, assistant chief of Rabun County Fire Services.  “Please pray for my family.
