Don’t be a grinch, come out to support Paws 4 Life

Gallery 441 and Tallulah Gorgeous will hold an Art Sale and Clothing Rummage to benefit Paws 4 Life Saturday, Dec. 18, at 6795 Highway 441, Dillard. Pups ready for adoption will be on-site from noon-2 p.m. The sale runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be live music, wreath making from 2-4 p.m.

Dillard hosts "A Night Out in Christmastown"

DILLARD– Community members gathered together in Dillard Dec. 8 for “A Night Out in Christmastown” and the lighting of the town Christmas tree. Dillard City Hall was decorated with Christmas lights and inflatable holiday characters.

Children's dental clinic at health department open

The children’s dental clinic at the Rabun County Health Department is back open after being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Tom Callahan is passing the reins to Dr. Brian Davis as the dentist for the clinic. Callahan and Davis said that they are excited for the clinic to be back open.

Successful 'Christmas Backpack' project

The “Christmas Backpack” project gathered 1,067 school backpacks filled with toys, food items, school supplies, books, and clothing to support children and families in the West Virginia mountains.

Christmas Village of Lights benefits abuse victims

TIGER– The Christmas Village of Lights sponsored by Fight Abuse in the Home (FAITH) continues this weekend. Lights synchronized to holiday music will fill the night sky Friday, Dec. 17, and Saturday, Dec. 18, from 6-8 p.m. at 90 Tiger Connector, Tiger.
