Earline Carver Benefield, 77, of Clayton, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming. Born on June 3, 1944, Earline was the daughter of the late Buster Buck T. Carver and Leona Dink Thomas. She was the widow of Robert Donnie Benefield.

Michael James Ciochetti Sr.

Michael James Ciochetti Sr. went to Heaven on Saturday, April 23, 2022. He was 90 years old.  “Mr. C” or “Pop Pop” as so many knew him, was born in the suburbs of Chicago, Ill., on July 10, 1931. He peacefully passed away after a battle with cancer at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Eugene (Gene) Franklin Knight

Eugene (Gene) Franklin Knight, 81, passed peacefully into eternity on March 24, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, with his family by his side. Born on Aug. 17, 1940, to parents, Rev. Jesse Frederick Knight and Angie Dollard Bass Knight in LaGrange, Ga.

William “Billy” Walton Fisch, an Atlanta native and seventh generation Atlantan, who’s great, great grandfather, Joseph Thompson was considered the first physician in Atlanta, died of natural causes at his home on Sunday, March 20, 2022. He was 92 years old.

William Jefferson Morris passed away peacefully after suffering a stroke on March 3, 2022.  He was born on Aug. 19, 1942, in Charlotte, N.C., the second child of six to Wilson Jefferson Morris and Nancy Louise Aderholt Morris.
