David Sterling Fish Jr.

David Sterling Fish Jr., age 32, of Dillard, passed away on Jan. 8, 2022. David was a Christian and a Catholic, who had spent the last 20 years as a resident of Rabun County. He played football and ran track during his time at Rabun County High School. He loved to fish, shoot guns and play pool.

Coyl Justice

Coyl Justice, age 95, of Betty’s Creek, passed away on Jan. 14, 2022. Coyl was born the son of the late Alden Forrest Justice and Namoi Long Justice on July 1, 1926. In his professional life he worked as a machinist for the AID manufacturing plant.

Oscar Kenneth Walker

Oscar Kenneth Walker, age 68, passed away Jan. 16, 2022. He was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Walker and Mary Early Jennings Walker. In his professional life, Oscar worked in the construction industry for himself. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.

Jewell Othella Dickerson Arrowood

Jewell Othella Dickerson Arrowood, age 94, of Lakemont, passed away on Jan. 3, 2022. Jewell was born the daughter of the late Ed Dickerson and the late Alma Ramey Dickerson on Aug. 20, 1927. She was a Christian and attended the Lakemont Baptist Church and Wiley Presbyterian Church.

Donna W. Tarver, 60 of Clayton, passed away at her residence on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021. Born in Richmond CA on May 1, 1961, she was the daughter of the late James Earl and Edna F. Lyons Wall.

Gregory Scott “Skeeter” Hopper

Gregory Scott “Skeeter” Hopper of the Persimmon Community was given a new body on Jan. 3, 2022, after over thirty years of battling Parkinson’s disease. He would have been 59 years old on April 29 and lived his entire life in Rabun County.

Mr. Jerry Juette Sullins, age 71 of Old Camp Creek Road, Cornelia passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Donald “Donnie” C. Holt

Donald “Donnie” C. Holt, 84 of Clayton, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at his residence. He was the husband of Jewell Mason Holt, married for 62 years. Born in Rabun County on Feb.13, 1937, he was the son of the late John Holt and Ethel Hunnicutt Holt.

Inez M. Watts

Inez M. Watts, 87 of Clayton, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 at her residence. Born on March 19, 1934 she was the daughter of the late V.L Moore and Eula Watts. She lived her life in Rabun County and worked as a seamstress for Clayburn Manufacturing.

Andrea Crunkleton

Andrea Crunkleton, 71 of Tiger passed away on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at New Horizons North in Gainesville. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Jan. 7, 1951, she was the daughter of the late James Economos and Evangeline Mortorakis. She lived in Pennsylvania before moving to Georgia and was a housewife.
