Juanita Patton Rawlins

Juanita Patton Rawlins, 90, of Rabun Gap, Ga. passed away on Wednesday June 23, 2021. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Wolffork Christian Fellowship with Rev. Pat Rawlins and Rev. Roy Rawlins officiating. Burial followed at Wolffork Baptist Church Cemetery.

Amy Martha Doddridge

Amy, 63, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 on her way home from the Florida Georgia Line concert at the Tiger Drive-In Theatre. She was born in Coral Gables, FL., to Rodney Doddridge and Dorothy Williams. Amy was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and served in the first Gulf War.

Lanny Edmund Hoffman, Sr.

Lanny Edmund Hoffman, Sr., 77, of Rabun Gap, passed away on Thursday, June 17. The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at Taylor's Chapel Baptist Church on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1 p.m. Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Fink remembered for service to Rabun

Robert Noble (Bob) Fink, Sr. had many accomplishments throughout his life. His dedicated service to the Rabun County community and love for its people is something many remember most about him.  Fink, 87 of Clayton died on June 9, 2021 after an extended illness.

Erskine Venorris Monteith

Erskine Venorris Monteith, age 77 of Otto, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday June 13, 2021. Born in Graham County on August 14, 1943, he was the son of the late Rev. Clyde and Hazel Monteith.

Robert Noble Fink Sr., age 87, of Clayton, Ga., passed away on June 9, 2021 with his loving wife at his side. Bob was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Andrew Fink and the late Doris Noble Fink. Bob joined the U.S.

Judy C. Bass

Judy C. Bass, age 81, of Dillard Ga. died peacefully with her daughter by her side on Friday morning, June 11,2021 after a short but ferocious battle with cancer. Judy was born on March 26, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Richard E. Asburn and Goldie Carey.

Florrie Jeanne Bishop McCurry

Florrie Jeanne Bishop McCurry, 95, formally of Rabun Gap, Ga., passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Universal Healthcare in Oxford. Born in Atlanta, Ga., she was the daughter of the late John Olin Bishop and Florrie Jeanne Perdue Bishop.

Daniel Lee Moore

Daniel Lee Moore, 49, of Highlands, N.C. passed away on June 8, 2021 at his residence in Highlands. Born December 9. 1971 in Rabun County, he was the son of David Moore and Patricia Henslee Dunham. He was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of Lake Crest Baptist Church.
