Samuel (Dale) Tyler, 58, of Rabun Gap finished his earthly journey Friday, Sept. 3, 2021.

The law enforcement community in Rabun County is mourning the loss of one of its own sisters in blue, Detention Center Officer Courtney Faith Zajdowicz. 

A service for Doris Edmonds Keener, 85, will be held at Beck Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5. Mrs. Keener passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021.

Lassie Arizonia Carpenter Holt, 85, passed away Aug. 30, 2021 following an extended illness.

Gary Eugene Wall, 67, of Clayton, passed away Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021 at his home. The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is at the home on U.S.

Sara Anne Lee, 85, passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2021. The celebration of life will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, at Wiley Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be at 1 p.m.

James Leslie “Les” Neely is remembered by friends and coworkers as someone who was exceptional at his job and always helped everyone he could. 

Betty Key Baker, 79, of Tiger, passed away Monday, Aug. 2, 2021 at Habersham Home East.
