Elizabeth Ann Kendall (nee Clark), 70, of Lakemont, departed peacefully Monday, Oct. 11, 2021. She was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania in 1951, the first daughter of Edward and Mary Clark and raised by her mother and stepfather, Wesley Smith.

Evelyn Coalley Youngblood

Evelyn Coalley Youngblood, 79, of Tiger, passed away Oct. 17, 2021. Evelyn was born the daughter of the late William Edward Coalley and the late Nora Carnes Coalley on June 9, 1942. In her professional life she worked as a teacher and center coordinator for the Rabun County Head Start.

Dale Gash

After a short illness, Dale Gash passed away early in the morning of Oct. 14, 2021 peacefully in his sleep with his beloved wife, Delores Dee by his side and his family nearby.

Carole F. Beusse

Carole F. Beusse, 85, of Lakemont passed away Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 at her residence. Born April 27, 1936, in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late James Ficken and Faye Granthem. She lived most of her life in Orlando, Florida, before moving to Rabun County.

Thomas E. Ledbetter

Thomas E. Ledbetter, 69, of Clayton, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton. Born Feb. 9, 1952 in Rabun County, he was the son of the late George P. Ledbetter and Elizabeth Loggins. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended Battle Branch Baptist Church.

Frank Junior Watts

Frank Junior Watts, 77, of Clayton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, at Habersham Medical Center. Born Aug. 28, 1944, in Rabun County he was the son of the late Henry Watts and Edna Tanner. He lived his life in Rabun County where he worked as a self-employed carpenter and was a member of Mt.

Gaynell Simmons Stancil

Gaynell Simmons Stancil, 91, of Lakemont, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at her residence. Born Aug. 5, 1930, in Greenville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Simmons and Estelle Bayne. She worked most of her life as a self-employed caregiver.

John Edward Chase

John Edward Chase, of Clayton, passed away Oct. 12, 2021 John was born on Jan. 19, 1965 in Lantana Florida, to John William Chase and Vera H. Chase. He was educated at the prestigious Kings Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Kenneth Allen ‘Kenny’ Henslee

Kenneth Allen ‘Kenny’ Henslee, 57, of Rabun Gap, passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Born Dec. 21, 1963, in Rabun County, he was the son of the late Harold Henslee and Dorothy Spillers. He lived his life in Rabun County and worked as a self-employed carpenter.
