Jesse Crampton Taylor

Jesse Crampton Taylor, 89 (known as J.C.) of Lakemont, Ga., died Monday, Sept. 23, 2019 at his home. He was the husband of Ann Dotson Taylor. They were married for over 69 years. Born March 11, 1930, in Rabun County, he was the son of the late Crampton Taylor and Ila Turpin Taylor.

Pamela (P.J.) Mason Carpenter, 54, of Mountain City, Ga., died Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at her home.  The family will have a memorial service on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, at 3 p.m. at The Scaly Mountain Church of God.

Benson E. Ledford, age 86, of Rabun Gap, Ga. passed away on Sept. 25, 2019. A graveside funeral service was held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 at the Hale Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Harvey Conner officiating. Beck Funeral Home, Clayton, was in charge of the arrangements.

Velma Harkins

Velma Harkins died on Sept. 10, 2019 at home in Clayton following an illness. She was born in Sissonville, West Virginia in 1928. She married Carol Harkins in 1952 and was married for 53 years until his death in 2005. The family relocated to Tampa, Fla. in 1963 and resided in Lutz, Fla.

Robert Jesse Bebee III

Robert Jesse Bebee III of Tiger, Ga. passed away on Sept. 11, 2019 at the age of 73. Bob was born in Sinton, Texas on April 20, 1946 to Bob and Sally Bebee. Growing up, he was active in the Mormon Church and in his Boy Scout troop, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Irma Cuprill Ferendino

Irma Cuprill Ferendino passed away of natural causes on September 3, 2019 at her home on Lancelot Loop in Kingwood, Clayton, Ga.  Ms. Irma just celebrated her 100th birthday on Aug. 6. Irma outlived all five of her siblings, as well as husbands Charles Castle and Andrew Ferendino.
