Mrs. Shirley Ann Hamilton Hosford, age 98, of Clayton, Ga. and recently Dublin, Ga., passed away on Monday, Oct. 21, 2019. Born outside of Honaker, Ky. on April 13, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Samuel B. and Sally (Stumbo) Hamilton, of Pikeville, Ky.

Bobby Allen Jenkins, 64, of Dillard, died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019 at the home of his sister, Elizabeth Bingham, in Mountain City, Ga. Born Nov. 27, 1954 in Macon County, N.C., he was the son of the late Elcaney Jenkins and Viola Burrell Jenkins.

Eric Shawn Wood, 49, of Mountain City, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta. Born Feb. 17, 1970, he was the son of Dennis L. Wood and Mary Jane Gibson Wood. He lived most of his life in Rabun County and worked as a self-employed rock and brick mason.

William Lee (Bill) Head, 70, of Spring Hill, Fla. went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2019. Born May 8, 1949 in Miami, Fla., he was the son of the late Jack Harvey, Sr. and Marie Brown Head. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Ann H.

Albert Turpin, 86, of Lakemont, died Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019 in Habersham Home East in Demorest, Ga. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2019 at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home, which was in charge of arrangements.

Marlon Edwin Holcombe Jr., age 61, of Duluth, Ga., passed away on Oct. 1, 2019. He was born the son of the late Marlon Edwin Holcombe and Adel Upchurch Holcombe on December 19, 1957 in Atlanta, Georgia. Marlon loved his family, his friends who became family and the entire Georgia Bulldog Nation.

On Monday, September 16, 2019, George Frederick Woelper of Rabun County, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 71. George was born Feb. 4, 1948 in Atlanta, Ga. to Walter E. Woelper and Mary (Clapp) Woelper.
