The Lady Indians swept the doubles and claimed two of three singles positions to win, 4-1, and the RCHS boys prevailed, 3-2 in eight-game pro-sets.

Jake Knowles homered and doubled and allowed one hit over six innings Feb. 25 as Rabun Gap defeated Rabun County, 9-0.
Knowles, who was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBIs, brought in the Eagles’ first run with a fourth-inning single, and the last two with a sixth-inning homer.

Rabun County netters bounce East Hall for first wins, tumble to Stephens

Finally able to take the court after weather delays, the Rabun County High tennis teams split their opening matches last week against Stephens County and East Hall.
Visiting Stephens won both the boys and girls tussles, 5-0 on Feb. 25, but Rabun responded last Thursday with two 4-1 road triumphs.

First match, first win for Rabun Gap tennis boys

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee boys tennis team dominated the singles matches and won two 10-point doubles tiebreakers Feb. 25 to shut out visiting Riverside Military Academy, 5-0.
In their opener, the Eagles swept the singles in the minimum six sets, each player recording a 6-0 first-set win.

A rainy, back-and-forth opener went Tallulah Falls’ way Monday, the Lady Indian soccer squad edging visiting Swain County, N.C., 7-6.
A freshman and two sophomores accounted for all the winners’ goals.
