Huge fifth inning lifts RCHS to win

The Rabun County High softball team exploded for 20 runs in a road romp Monday, and was doubled up at home last Thursday in non-region games. RCHS collected 11 fifth-inning runs Monday to breeze, 20-3 at Cherokee Bluff.

TFS runners start season Saturday

The Tallulah Falls School boys, girls and middle school cross-country teams take the starting line with high expectations for the 2020 season. Both squads kick off the schedule Aug. 22 at the Northeast Georgia XC Championships in Athens, and the first home meet is slated for Sept.

RCHS edges East Hall in volleyball

The Rabun County High volleyball squad split two matches at East Hall and lost a best-of-five duel at White County last week to open the season.  On Tuesday, Aug. 11, at East Hall, Rabun dropped the first set, 25-19 to the host school, took the next, 25-15, then rallied in the third set to prevail.

RCHS softball cruises in opener

The first two contests of the regular season concluded in a split for the Rabun County High softball team, which wiped out Clarke Central last Friday and lost Monday at Hart County in non-region action.

Pope, Dunwoody added to Wildcat football schedule

As Rabun County High football counts down the days until kickoff, the Wildcats’ schedule carousel kept spinning recently with two regular-season additions.   The ’Cats have found a new opening-week opponent, as Class 7A Dunwoody will visit Sept.
