Rabun Gap football opens seven-game schedule Friday night

Under the direction of first-year head coach Joe Sturdivant, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee will kick off an abbreviated seven-game football schedule Friday night near Asheville, N.C.

Rabun Middle gridders thump Habersham

The Rabun County Middle football squad improved to 3-0 Monday, whipping Habersham, 28-6 at Frank Snyder Memorial Stadium.  Noah English ran for three first-half touchdowns and Parker Smith scored on a pick-six for the winners. Radolfo Ramos’ interception preceded English’s third touchdown.

TFS spikers level record with four victories

Four wins in five matches last week pulled the Tallulah Falls School volleyball team to the .500 mark this season.  The Lady Indians (12-12 overall) swept two area home matches Sept. 15, and won two of three last Saturday at a Grayson playday.

RGNS soccer squad nets shutout wins

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee boys soccer team kicked off the season last week with two shutout wins in its first three matches.  Sebastian Zavala scored six goals over the two victories, five in an 11-0 drubbing at Anderson Christian Sept. 15.

Late touchdown lifts Wildcats over Prince Avenue

An exciting finish seemed right for a special night at Frank Snyder Stadium, and a late touchdown toss from Gunner Stockton to Adriel Clark was the winning margin last Friday in Rabun County’s 38-31 victory over Prince Avenue Christian.
