Tallulah middle-school track puts on record-setting show at Hebron

Tallulah Falls middle-school track and field athletes broke several school records at the Hebron Christian Invitational last Thursday, the last day before interscholastic competition halted due to COVID-19 precautions.

Eagles score 10 in seventh, top Walhalla

A 10-run seventh with seven walks, six hits and five wild pitches turned a stalemate into a 13-3 Rabun Gap-Nacoochee waltz March 11 at Walhalla, S.C. Rabun Gap won its fourth straight behind 12 hits, two each from Alexander Cordero, Gai Kumamoto, Max Viera and Jake Knowles.

Tallulah limited to two hits in 5-3 loss

A 5-3 loss at Johnson of Gainesville March 11 dropped the Tallulah Falls baseball Indians to 4-4 on the abbreviated season. The Indians managed just two hits total, by Davis Jennings and Drew Bates, each of whom also crossed home.

Tallulah Falls winter athletes honored at banquet

Student-athletes from Tallulah Falls School celebrated the culmination of the winter sports season in a March 11 banquet at The Dillard House.  Varsity coaches from basketball, swimming and cheerleading presented individual awards in various categories.

Baseball ’Cats batter Knights for first triumph

Getting contributions from everyone in the order Monday, the Rabun County baseball Wildcats routed visiting Johnson of Gainesville, 12-2 for their first victory of the season.  Last week, Rabun (1-8) lost a Region 8-AA home doubleheader to Putnam County and tumbled to Stephens County.
