ATHENS – As it has been since the 2021 and 2022 College Football National Championship games, the city of Athens was buzzing on Thursday, June 20.

Wildcats wrap up successful summer slate with 18-4 record

As hot as it has been this summer, the Rabun County High School boys basketball team has been even hotter as the Wildcats competed in a slew of summer games going 18-4 overall.

Rabun County Rec Department hosts ninth annual golf tourney

The Rabun County Recreation Department hosted its ninth annual golf tournament at The Orchard Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, June 18.  Overall, 58 competitors making up 29 teams of two went at it on the links for local pride, prizes and plenty of fun at the fundraiser.

Wildcats best Eagles 7-2 in summer ball bout; pitching staff beginning to form

The Rabun County High School baseball team took down the East Jackson Eagles 7-2 during the Wildcats third game of their summer training on Thursday, June 13.  The RCHS lineup ran out to a hot start, scoring five in the bottom of the first to take a commanding lead.

Lady Cats split four-game showcase in Atlanta

The Rabun County High School girls basketball team made its way to Atlanta as this summer presses forward.  From Thursday, June 13, to Friday, June 14, the Lady Cats showcased their young talent at this year’s Girls Basketball Coaches Association Live Event at LakePoint Sports Complex.

TFS soccer players announced in recent GACA All-State list

After a season where both the girls and boys soccer teams won region titles and made respective appearances in the Georgia Class A Division I state tournament, a number of Tallulah Falls School soccer players were named as all state players by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association.
