RCMS Wildcats bring home soccer title

After putting together the best season it has ever seen last year, the Rabun County Middle School boys soccer team smashed a school record in 2024 while earning its first-ever region championship on Saturday, March 23.

Lady Indians 5th at Valhalla Cup; Indians take loss at Rabun Gap

The Lady Indians had a great day Monday on the links, coming in fifth in the Valhalla Cup. Taking on 10 teams, TFS was led by Mallory Higgins and her new personal-best 37. She finished second individually. Madeline Martin carded a 49 and Raegan Duncan came in with a 50.

Eagles earn massive victory as RGNS track and field hosts opening meet

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School track and field teams hosted their first meet of the 2024 season on Wednesday, March 20, at Zavala Family Stadium.  Overall, six teams competed in the meet, including RGNS, Franklin (N.C.), Asheville School, Smoky Mountain, Carolina Day School and Christ School.

RGNS boys tennis starts 2024 season with 3-1 start

Spring is in the air and the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School boys tennis team is in full swing as they have started the 2024 season with a strong 3-1 start.

RCHS soccer seniors honored during home sweep of Blazers

The Rabun County High School soccer teams took on region foe Barrow Arts and Sciences on Tuesday, March 26, at Frank Snyder Memorial Stadium where both the girls and boys team defeated the Blazers to hold onto two of the top spots in Region 8 of Georgia Class A Division I.

RCHS track and field hosts Bo James Invitational

The Rabun County High School track and field team hosted the ninth-annual Bo James Invitational last Saturday, March 23.  The original plan was to host the invite on Friday, March 22, but rain forced RCHS to reschedule for the following day that was filled with warmth and sun.

Eagles gear up for Tennessee tourney after dominant road trip, first home game

Spring came early for the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School baseball teams as head coach Clark Wright and the Eagles quickly blossomed into mid-season form to start the 2024 season.
