RCHS soccer teams eye top region spot; prepare for second half of region slate

The Rabun County High School boys and girls soccer teams are putting together strong regular seasons that could result in home playoff matches later this season during the Georgia Class A Division I state tournament.

Diamond ‘Cats search for turning point after 2-11 start to 2024 season

The 2024 season has been a learning experience for the Rabun County High School baseball team as the Wildcats have earned just two wins through their first 13 games and are 0-6 in region play after being swept by Athens Christian and Elbert County.

RCHS tennis earns first region victory in opening matches vs. BAASA

Ramos cracks four round-trippers as RGNS baseball earns 23-run victory

It’s March and the start of football season is months away, so the 23-0 score must’ve come from the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School baseball team.

Six area hoopers showcase talent at Sandy’s Spiel Showcase

The end of March may be filled with exciting and wild moments from the NCAA men’s and women’s basketball tournaments, but Rabun County still got its fill of local hoops as six local girls basketball players participated in an offseason camp in front of college scouts.

TFS marksmen take second in state tournament

The Tallulah Falls School Precision Rifle team capped off the historic season by taking home second place in the GHSA state championship on Saturday, March 16, after a perfect 14-0 season, including a first-ever Area championship, two playoff victories and a handful of school records.
