Rabun uses 27-point fourth quarter to rout Commerce

There’s no doubt the Rabun County High School boys basketball team is playing its best basketball of the 2023-24 season.  Over the last 10 games, the Wildcats have been winners in eight of those contests and currently hold a three-game region-winning streak.

New format coming for gridiron Wildcats

The Rabun County High School football team released its schedule for the upcoming 2024 season on Jan. 26 and this year will be unique for the Wildcats and other programs statewide when the postseason arrives.

Season Preview: TFS tennis kicks off 2024 season

The Tallulah Falls tennis teams will have their first matches of the 2024 season on Thursday, Jan. 25, as both the girls and boys travel to Gainesville High School.

Wildcats ‘prey’ over Blue Devils 79-61 in first region win

The Rabun County High School boys basketball team earned its first region win of the 2023-24 season on Friday, Jan. 19, when the Wildcats bested Elbert County 79-61 in Elberton.  With the victory over the Blue Devils, RCHS is now 7-13 this season and 1-2 in region.

RCMS Lady Cats earn runner-up in postseason tourney

The Rabun County eighth-grade girls basketball team advanced to the championship game of this year’s postseason tournament that featured area teams such as Elbert County, Stephens County, Franklin County and Habersham Central.

Lady Cats fall in top-five matchup with Athens Christian; rebound in win over Elbert

Region-play is now in full-swing for the Rabun County girls basketball team.  So far, the Lady Cats have taken two of their first three games against their Region 8 opponents with wins over Commerce and Elbert County.

Wrestling Wildcats get first taste of area competition in Area Duals match

The Rabun County High School traveled to Commerce last Saturday, Jan. 13, to compete in its first area match of the 2023-24 season.  Overall, the Wildcats went 2-2 by defeating Athens Christian and Towns County but falling to Commerce and Elbert County.

TFS soccer’s Ball signs LOI with Belmont Abbey College

Prior to the upcoming start to the Tallulah Falls School soccer team’s 2024 season, Indian standout Austin Ball signed his letter of intent to play collegiate soccer for Belmont Abbey College over the next four years.
