No. 3 Wildcats stay undefeated

One thing was certain Friday night: one team would leave the night with their first loss of the season. The Rabun County High School football team made sure they stayed undefeated, beating Whitefield Academy 28-14 behind a four-touchdown night from senior quarterback Keegan Stover.

TFS launches softball team for ‘23-’24 season

It was only a matter of time before Tallulah Falls School officially launched a softball program. After more than a year of several students and families showing interest, the time was finally right to build the foundation.

Add Braves to those who’ve ‘Heard’ of Rabun

Rabun County overcame a slow start to pour points onto the scoreboard for a 42-13 Sept. 16 road victory at Heard County as the Class A Division I No.3-ranked Wildcats’ record surged to 4-0. The Wildcats’ non-region win in Franklin, Ga.

Horne leads Eagles to win over rivals

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee varsity football team won a thriller against rival Christ School 21-14 on Friday night.

Rabun County has been blessed by good quarterbacking for four years, and are well on their way to a fifth year.

Eagles VB plays 9 matches in 10 days

By Luke Morey Sports editor The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee varsity volleyball team fell to Asheville School 3-0 on Wednesday for the first conference match of the year. The Eagles also fell to Tallulah Falls 2-3 on Thursday as well as losing to Highlands School 0-3 on Friday.

Lady Cat softball begins region play against Commerce

The Rabun County Lady Cats softball team fell to Commerce high school 4-2 in the first region match of the year on Thursday. The Lady Cats also fell 9-1 to the Union County Panthers on Monday. RCHS is now 3-14 for the season.

Girls XC takes 5th at ‘Cookies n’ Quotes’ while boys take 10th; boys, girls take 6th at Athens

With Tallulah Falls hosting the annual ‘Cookies n’ Quotes’ XC Festival on Tuesday afternoon, dozens of local programs showed up to compete. At the varsity level, the Indians claimed the 10th spot among 14 teams, and the Lady Indians fifth out of eight.
