Lady Indians tie school record with 6th straight win

The Lady Indians volleyball team rolled up a 3-2 close win over visiting Rabun Gap on Thursday evening, tying a school record of six straight victories. The six-match win streak marks the sixth time the team has done that, most recently last season.

Eagles take down streaking A.C. Reynolds Rockets 37-28: Defense, special teams lead the way against top-ranked N.C. opponent as Eagles win third straight

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee varsity football team is now on a three game winning streak after taking down A.C. Reynolds 37-28. The Eagles jumped on the Rockets early, blocking a punt on the first possession of the game.

Tallulah Falls names Crotta head golf coach

Tallulah Falls School has named Matt Crotta its new head varsity golf coach heading into the upcoming 2023 season. Crotta was previously the assistant coach both last in 2022 under Hannah Satterfield, and a few years ago under Allen Campbell.

Wildcat XC boys earn second, girls claim third at Rabun Gap

The Rabun County High school cross country team took second and third place at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee’s course. They competed against Smoky Mountain, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee, and Oconee Christian Academy. The RCHS boys ran first coming in second behind Smokey Mountain.

Rabun County Rec XC notches personal bests at Banks Course

The Rabun County Recreation Department cross country team faced off near Hudson Valley Recreation Department, with Kai Hanifan-Wagner taking first place yet again. Wagner finished in a time of 8:25 in the boys 8U with Logan Prescott in 11th with 10:25.

Rabun Gap Eagles cruise to 50-12 win over Country Day

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee high school waltzed to a 50-12 victory against Charlotte Country Day School on Friday night. The offensive line led the way for the Eagles, as the offense only ran 25 plays. “We really dominated all three phases,” said assistant coach Connor Cohea.

#4-ranked TFS varsity on 5-match win streak

dians went to Homer on Tuesday evening to take on both Banks County and East Jackson in a region tri-match. The varsity team crafted a new win streak with wins over both opponents in straight sets. Meanwhile, the JV team split, taking a win over East Jackson before dropping the match to Banks.

Record-setting night: Wildcats put up 72

To say there were a lot of fireworks Friday night is an understatement. The Rabun County High School set a school scoring record, crushing Adairsville 72-36. “It’s not about me, it’s about the kids,” RCHS head coach Michael Davis said.

Lady Eagles volleyball defeats Stephens County 3-0

The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School varsity volleyball team went 2-1 over the week, with their final game a thrilling 3-0 win against Stephens County. In their win against the Anderson Cavaliers, junior Peyton Brady had 10 kills with no errors.

Indians girls 8th, boys 13th at North Georgia Championships

The TFS MS cross country teams opened the 2022 season in Jefferson on Saturday at the North Georgia Championships. The girls finished in eighth place, while the boys came in 13th. The Indians were led by Gavin Dodd, who placed 29th among 234 total runners, coming in at 13:19.
