Georgia has seen sexually transmitted diseases rise drastically over the last few years, including in our northeast Public Health District 2 (data from Georgia Dept. Public Health). In 2022, Georgia ranked 5th nationally for rates of gonorrhea and chlamydia.

The Rabun County High School Future Business Leaders of America  (FBLA) chapter earned a 2023-2024 Superior Gold Chapter honor as one of the top 20 FBLA clubs in the state. The FBLA finished 10th.
