Forward Rabun/Rabun County Chamber of Commerce celebrated its newest “Silver” Member, Groovy Bus & Groovy Palace, with a Ribbon-Cutting & After Five Event on Thursday, Aug. 17,  at 5:30 p.m. at the location of the new Groovy Palace, 122 Cannon Street, Clayton.

Nonprofit Night at Currahee Brewing Company was once again a success Aug. 3 as the Rotary Club of Clayton raised $2,800 to benefit Rabun County Bands.

Clayton local promoted to lieutenant colonel at UNG

Rabun County native LTC Stephanie Ann Hartley was promoted from major to lieutenant colonel during a ceremony Saturday, Aug. 12, at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. Lieutenant colonel is the second field grade officer rank in the United States Army.
