Rabun County High School (RCHS) Class of 2023 graduate Taylor Rogers successfully completed the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Course and recently passed her National Registry Exam just before graduating high school.

CLAYTON- The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning’s (DECAL) Nutrition Services Division announced that it is partnering with Rabun County Family Connection to kickoff the summer meals season. The kick-off event will be held on Tuesday, June 13, at the Rabun County Public Library.

Worker airlifted after Highway 197 crash

A Windstream worker was airlifted after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 197 near Verner Kastner Lane in Rabun County May 30. A white 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, driven by Matthew Wood, 44 of Tiger, Ga., was traveling south on Ga. 197.
