The City of Clayton recently purchased three Automated External Defibrillator’s (AED) to ensure the community has more access to life-saving devices. An AED is a portable medical device used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.

Sky Valley Garden Club announces areas of study for its 2025 Scholars

The Sky Valley Garden Club awards scholarships each year to Rabun County students, working with the school guidance counselors. The scholarships are funded by our events, raffles held at monthly meetings, and sales of plants and other items made or provided by our members.

Texas already is hot and so is the competition. Kyle Bryner, owner of Blue Hound Barbecue & Grill, showed off his cooking abilities on the first episode of the Food Network’s “BBQ Brawl.” Those talents helped him advance to the second week of the reality show that airs on Sundays at 9 p.m.
