With age comes wisdom and Lt. J.G. Dr. Eldred Causey imparted his wisdom to “go with the flow” at his 101st Birthday celebration during February’s Vet-to-Vet Cafe that fell on his birthday on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Community members had the opportunity to express their views about HB 581 at a public forum on Jan. 30 hosted by Rabun County Commissioners Scott Crane and Kent Woerner.

Habitat for Hounds provides shelter for man’s best friend

It is said that dogs are man’s best friend. So it’s important to make sure the canines have the resources they need to thrive. The 501(c)3 nonprofit Habitat for Hounds is dedicated to that mission of providing dogs with adequate shelter to better their lives at no cost to the owner.
