There was also a reading of “The Christmas Story.” The Dec. 7 event was sponsored by the City of Dillard, The Dillard House, Head of Tennessee Baptist Church, Cupboard Cafe, and the North Georgia Community Players.

Raelyn Hunnicutt, 10; Brynlee Hunnicutt, 7; Sophie Chamblee, 9; and Carter Chamblee, 7 are excited to visit Santa and tell him of their wants for Christmas.
Wade Cheek/The Clayton Tribune. Santa Claus came to town last Saturday, Dec. 7 as he rounded out the end of this year’s Christmas parade in downtown Clayton. The parade was presented by Forward Rabun/Chamber of Commerce and the City of Clayton, brought massive numbers of participants and was a great success.
