Mountaineer Festival attracts visitors

CLAYTON-- The Foxfire Mountaineer Festival brought crowds of people and about 50 vendors selling crafts and wares on Saturday.  It was a day of arts, crafts, music and more all in celebration of Appalachian Culture at the pavilions behind the Civic Center in Clayton.

Grant allows for development of more affordable housing in Rabun

Lakemont man airlifted after accident

TIGER-- A Lakemont man was airlifted Sept. 23 following a one-vehicle accident on Burton Dam Road in Tiger.  “Crash time is unknown as the crash happened sometime on the evening of Sept. 22,” according to Georgia State Patrol (GSP).
