Phillip Wesley Ramey, 68, of Clayton, died Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Edith "Edie" Graves Wiggers, 79, of Wiley, Ga., passed away peacefully on June 13, 2020 at home surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held at Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, Ga. for family and close friends. Edie was born in Saint Petersburg, Fla.

Rachel Laidly Wright

Rachel Laidly Wright passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, June 6.   A longtime resident of St. Simons and Sea Island, as well as Sky Valley, Ga., Rachel grew up in Detroit, Mi.  She attended Mumford High School and was a quiz show high school representative.

William Samuel Simpson

William Samuel Simpson, 79, of Waleska, Ga. went to be with the Lord on June 1, 2020. Sam was born in Smyrna, Ga. the son of the late Emory Madison Spear Simpson and the late Carrie Lee Payne Simpson. Sam was a plumber by trade.

Larry Keith Darnell

Larry Keith Darnell, 63 years old, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020, at Athens Regional Hospital. Family members were with him until the Angels took him home. While he will be sorely missed, we are looking forward to being reunited with him one day.

Marjorie Sanders Preston, 95, of Lakemont, Ga., passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 at NE. Georgia Medical Center. Born March 4, 1925 in Pinellas, Fl., she was the daughter of the late Brewer Sanders and Elizabeth Milton Sanders.
