Michelle Lynn Frady, 37, of Lakemont, Ga. passed away at Northeast. Georgia Medical Center on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Born in Dekalb County, Ga. on March 15, 1983, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Frady and Pauline Callenback.

James (Jim) M. Reynolds

God held out his hand to James (Jim) M. Reynolds on June 4, 2020 and lead him to his eternal home. Jim was a graduate of Lowell Textile Institute (now U Mass) with a B.S. in Textile Chemistry and later earned a M.S. in Management from Stephens Institute, Hoboken, N.J.

Lenore Thornton Capps Carnes, 92, of Tiger, Ga. passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at her home.  Born December 22, 1927 in Fulton County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Shirley Thornton Capps and Dorothy Prehn and the widower of Olan T. Carnes.

James L. Ahenger

James L. Ahenger, age 95, of Erie, Pennsylvania, formerly of Tiger, Ga., passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 after a brief illness. He was a former employee of The Clayton Tribune in the 1990’s. 

Lewis Farmer Reeves, Jr.

Lewis Farmer Reeves, Jr., age 82, of Clayton, Ga., passed away on May 19, 2020. Lewis was born on July 8, 1937 to the late Lewis Farmer Reeves, Sr. and the late Rubye Belle Dickerson Reeves. Lewis was a graduate of Rabun County High School and attended Georgia Institute of Technology.

Clarice Elizabeth Johnson Nichols

Clarice Elizabeth Johnson Nichols, age 64, of Clayton, Ga., passed away on May 20, 2020. Clarice was born the daughter of the late Charles Edgar Johnson and Ollie Laverne Davis Johnson on May 14, 1956. Clarice loved her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Marjorie W. Griffin

Marjorie W. Griffin, 93, peacefully joined her loved ones in heaven on Friday, May 22, 2020 after a lingering battle of heart issues.  Marjorie was the first baby girl born in the brand-new Huntsville, Alabama hospital in 1926. She moved to Nashville, Tn.

Josephine Grace Palmer, 82, of Dillard, Ga., passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at her home.  Born October 17, 1927 in Sarasota, Fl., she was the daughter of the late Samuel Thomas and Edith Hedlund. She worked for Southern Gas Company for 24 years as well as multiple other jobs.

Thomas Williams Burns

Thomas Williams Burns, 67, of Salisbury, N.C., passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, N.C. He passed following a long fight with complications from a major stroke. Tom was born January 18, 1953 in Jacksonville, Fl.
