’Cats power through Saluda, 63-7

Another trip to the Carolinas last Friday night became another Rabun County High gridiron romp. Saluda, ranked fourth in South Carolina, was little more than a speed bump as the Wildcats got five Gunner Stockton touchdown passes and two defensive touchdowns in a 63-7 pasting.

TFS spikers upend No. 1 Murphy

The Tallulah Falls School volleyball squad picked a great time to play its best match of the season, taking down visiting undefeated and No. 1-ranked Murphy, N.C., in a 3-1 victory Monday evening.

Rabun strikes early, often in 59-14 rout of Murphy

A slight detour in the schedule last Friday proved little trouble for Rabun County, which rolled host Murphy, N.C., for more than 600 total yards in a 59-14 rout.  The game, arranged after Rabun’s original matchup against Walhalla was called off, was a lopsided affair from the start.

Margins are slim at Cookies ’n Quotes

The annual Cookies ’n Quotes cross-country meet hosted Sept. 7 by Tallulah Falls School was as good as it’s been, with hundreds of runners navigating the Farm Course. Rabun County and Rabun Gap-Nacoochee also sent runners for varsity and middle-school competition.
