Prince Avenue Christian takes series from TFS

After losing two of three to Prince Avenue Christian last week, the Tallulah Falls baseball Indians stood 11-6 overall and 6-3 in Region 8-A Private.  The visiting team won each game of the set, starting with the Wolverines’ 8-0 victory Monday, March 29, at the Higgins Baseball Complex.

Wildcats post times at meet

The Rabun County High track and field program welcomed Rabun Gap-Nacoochee and Habersham Central for a March 30 competition.  For the RCHS girls, Ellie Southards reached 4-6 in the high jump, 31-0 in the shotput, and 99-8 in the discus.

Tallulah track and field tops four teams at Providence meet

The Tallulah Falls School girls and boys track and field teams initiated spring break last Thursday by defeating host Providence Christian, Northview, Prince Avenue, and King’s Ridge while losing to Class 5A Loganville. The boys also defeated Mount Vernon and Atlanta Adventist in Lilburn.

Rabun Gap tennis boys dominate singles, beat Hart for third triumph

Sweeping the singles positions in straight sets, the Rabun Gap boys tennis Eagles edged host Hart County, 3-2 last Thursday to improve to 3-0 on the young season. From No. 1 to No. 3 singles, Alex Sabo won, 6-3, 6-3; Jacobo Saenz breezed, 6-1, 6-1; and Marco Gonzalez triumphed, 6-1, 6-3.

Banks netters bounce RCHS

The second Region 8-AA victories eluded both the Rabun County High boys and girls tennis teams, as visiting Banks County secured a sweep March 30.  The Wildcat boys claimed the No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles spots in a 3-2 defeat.

TFS soccer squads sweep Loganville Christian

A March 30 home soccer sweep of visiting Loganville Christian featured the Tallulah Falls girls’ fifth Region 8-A Private win and the boys’ fourth.  Keygan Antosiak and Honora Kahwach tallied in the girls’ 2-1 triumph, and the boys netted three goals in the first three minutes of a 9-0 waltz.
