Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School second grade holds successful market day

The third annual Second Grade Christmas Market at Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School was a huge success, with student entrepreneurs making $2,775.54 and gaining real-world experience in product development, economics, and giving back. This year’s proceeds will support a new community garden on campus.

Firefighter/paramedic gets new heart valve in new robotic surgery performed in Georgia for first time

GAINESVILLE, GA – A Habersham County firefighter/paramedic is back on the job after getting a new heart valve in a robotic surgery that was the first of its kind ever done in Georgia.
