Lt. Gerrells retires after four decades of protecting citizens

Law enforcement officers are called to protect and serve their communities in many capacities. With a career spanning four decades, Lt. Mark Gerrells went above and beyond to show care and dedication to citizens by serving with passion.

Rabun County deputy registrar attends first conference

Deputy Registrar Derik Pendrey at the Rabun County Elections Office has been on the job for seven months and said that he has learned a lot about the election process and is constantly learning new information.

Rabun County Bank donates to Sid Weber

The employees of the Clayton branch of Rabun County Bank presented a check for $2,000 to the Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund on Friday, Jan. 12. The employees raised the money by paying $3 on Fridays to wear jeans to work.
