Single-vehicle crash damages Tiger buildings

A crash on Old Highway 441 South near the intersection of Tiger Connector Road in Tiger resulted in extensive damage to two buildings when the driver had a medical episode Dec. 7.

Kemp wants to accelerate state income tax cuts

ATLANTA – Gov. Brian Kemp said on Dec. 4 he will ask Georgia lawmakers to provide additional tax relief during the upcoming legislative session by accelerating a state income tax cut lawmakers adopted last year. House Bill 1437 set in place a reduction in the state’s income tax rate from 5.

Clayton nighttime parade energizes downtown crowd

The chill in the air did not cool down the spirit of the season as Clayton held its Christmas Parade and followed up the annual event on Dec. 8 with the lighting of the large candle in downtown.

Dillard, Tallulah Falls get into Christmas spirit
