Ellijay, GA – The Appalachia Georgia Friends of the Bears would like to remind the public that fall has arrived. The leaves have started turning at the higher altitudes, children and young adults alike are returning to school, and Southeastern Conference football heralds the arrival of fall.

CLAYTON– NASA Astronaut Winston Scott spoke to the Rotary Club of Clayton about his missions to space at the Rotary meeting Aug. 18. Scott was selected by NASA in March 1992 and reported to the Johnson Space Center in August 1992.

CLAYTON– A vehicle crashed into the bushes beside the Chick-fil-A sign on Sunday, Sept. 4, around 4:35 p.m. following a two-vehicle crash on Georgia 15 at Ramey Boulevard in Clayton.
