A search warrant executed by the RCSO at a residence in Rabun Gap resulted in the seizure of multiple suspected narcotics, numerous firearms and a large amount of ammunition. The DNR was also called to assist with wildlife remains. Three people were arrested as a result of the investigation.

Rabun County Democrats hosted guest speaker Melita Easters, executive director and founding chair of the Georgia WIN list, at their monthly meeting held at the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia on Monday. Easters uses charts and maps to discuss and illustrate Georgia’s history of partisan party shifts in districts on a county-by-county basis from 2016 to 2020.
