TIGER-- Buddy and Tony are furry friends available for adoption at Rabun Paws for Life and looking for their loving furever homes.  Buddy Buddy was brought to Rabun Paws 4 Life on Sept. 8, 2020 after the death of his family member. He’s searching for his new furever home with a loving family.

Rabun County Detention Center Officer killed in crash

A Rabun County Detention Officer was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 441 just North of Clayton city limits Wednesday evening, according to a statement from Georgia State Patrol.

The City of Clayton’s financial accounting practices may be getting a complete overhaul. Elaine Kent and Brenda Norton, financial consultants working under the banner of Local Government Consulting Services LLC, submitted a proposal to Clayton City Council Aug. 23 during a called meeting.
