Weldon Wahl, plant manager for the Parkdale Rabun Gap facility, takes Rep. Doug Collins, who represents Georgia’s 9th congressional district, on a tour of the Parkdale textile plant in Rabun County last Thursday. Wahl showed Collins the automated machinery inside the facility and introduced him to some of Parkdale’s employees. Parkdale is one of the largest providers of spun yarns in the world.
The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia organizes programs and provides resources to help people in need in Rabun County and the surrounding counties.
