NASA astronaut Scott speaks to Rotary Club of Clayton about his experience

CLAYTON– NASA Astronaut Winston Scott spoke to the Rotary Club of Clayton about his missions to space at the Rotary meeting Aug. 18. Scott was selected by NASA in March 1992 and reported to the Johnson Space Center in August 1992.

Four-vehicle crash causes injuries in Mountain City

MOUNTAIN CITY– The already congested traffic from the holiday weekend became even more backed up Monday afternoon after a four-vehicle crash occurred on Georgia 15 at File Street near George Eller Curve in Mountain City. The crash occurred around 2:38 p.m. Monday, Sept.

Heavy flooding pours into Rabun over soggy Labor Day weekend

It was raining cats and dogs in Rabun County over the weekend as motorists were met with torrential downpours during the Labor Day holiday. The Germany Valley Weather Station reported 6.
