RCHS girls beat Rabun Gap; ’Cat boys top Indians

The Rabun County High hoopsters prevailed at both Rabun Gap-Nacoochee and Tallulah Falls last Thursday, the girls defeating the Lady Eagles in a three-point shootout and the boys holding steady down the stretch at TFS.

Tallulah girls end Athens Academy’s winning streak

A pivotal Region 8-A Private victory over Athens Academy last Friday pulled the Tallulah Falls girls cagers into a first-place league tie.  The Lady Indians, who beat Landmark Christian the next day to reach 13-6 overall, were to host George Walton Feb.

RCHS boys defeat Elbert for huge Region 8-AA win

The Wildcat boys had Elbert County on the ropes in the Jan. 15 Region 8-AA opener, but let the Blue Devils escape.  Not so Tuesday night in Tiger. Thanks to Connor McKay’s game-high 24 points, Rabun County collected a crucial 8-AA win, 63-56, and improved to 2-2 in league play.

Under new coach, Tallulah boys soccer enters GHSA competition

Tallulah Falls is opening a new era of boys soccer this season, its first as a full member for the sport in the Georgia High School Association.  After a 3-10 season in 2020 played in the fall against mostly teams from North Carolina, the Indians are looking to pen a new chapter.

Indian runners break records in Birmingham

Ten Tallulah Falls School track and field athletes were among the couple thousand athletes from multiple states who competed last weekend at the Last Chance indoor invitational in Birmingham, Ala.  TFS athletes set two indoor school records, according to coach Scott Neal.
