Tallulah boys reach 6-0 in 8-A Private

After running its win streak to 10 games last Friday night with a victory over Prince Avenue Christian, Saturday brought the Tallulah Falls School boys basketball team its first loss in 51 days.  The Indians fell at home to Galloway, ranked third in Class A Private, 62-33.

Ladycats silence Union for 13th win

Fresh off a crucial Region 8-AA victory over Banks County three days earlier, the Rabun County High girls cagers breezed at Union County, 65-37 last Friday to go to 2-1 in league play.  The victory, highlighted by Sophie Woodard’s game-best 21 points, was the third-ranked Ladycats’ 13th overall.

A three-point avalanche keyed the Rabun Gap Nacoochee boys dribblers’ 12th victory, a 94-59 home blowout Jan. 20 over Christ School.  On fire from the outset, eight Eagles combined to sink 16 threes.

Lady Indian spiker Carlan to play at Truett-McConnell

Senior Abby Carlan put a lot of thought and prayer into a big decision to commit to Truett-McConnell University to continue her education and volleyball playing career. The TFS senior is coming off what was a historic season for the Lady Indians, and will now look forward to being a TMU Bear.
