The Diaper Day Resource Fair held at the Rabun County Health Department was a success as community partners came together to provide important resources and information. Rabun County Health Department Office Manager Sue Darnell said the goal was to make a difference for the community.

Walmart of Clayton cuts ribbon on grand re-opening

Community members started their morning bright and early June 30 as Walmart Supercenter of Clayton held a grand re-opening and ribbon cutting event featuring community resources, games, music, dancing, a celebratory cake, face painting, balloon animals, inflatables and the Coca-Cola polar bear.

CLAYTON– July’s First Friday Fest at The Rock House in Clayton July 7 brought much community support as the band “Playing it Forward” performed for the fundraising event, where all donations went to Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Troop 6. BSA Troop 6 also had a bake sale during the concert.

The city of Clayton served as the easel for the Painted Fern Art Festival presented by the North Georgia Arts Guild at the Rabun County Civic Center July 8 and 9.

Diaper Day Resource Fair coming this weekend

The Rabun County Health Department offers many services and resources available to Rabun County residents. Amerigroup Community Care, Rabun Department of Public Health and Medlink Georgia invite the community to a Diaper Day Resource Fair Saturday, July 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
