Bluegrass comes to Dillard this weekend for charity

Bluegrass music is coming to Dillard this weekend as the 26th Dillard Bluegrass Festival returns Friday, Aug. 4, and Saturday, Aug. 5, with an eventful lineup. Dillard City Hall Fairgrounds will be host to this Bluegrass Benefit Festival from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Tallulah Falls Police awarded grant from Governor’s Office of Highway Safety

Rabun County GOP wins top state award

Little, tiny Rabun County in the far north eastern corner of the state outperformed the 158 other county parties in the last election cycle. The Rabun County GOP won the Georgia Republican Party five-star award for county party excellence recently.

Rabun County Board of Education Vice Chairman Curt Haban has resigned suddenly from Post 1 after serving for 12 years. Haban submitted his resignation via email on July 22 to Superintendent Dr. April Childers and board members.
