Local nonprofit Fight Abuse in the Home (F.A.I.T.H.) is looking to the future in expanding services to survivors of physical and sexual child abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking across Northeast Georgia.

Tribune captures multiple state press association awards

JEKYLL ISLAND, GA. - The staff of The Clayton Tribune was honored with multiple awards at the 2025 Better Newspaper Contest on June 20 at the Jekyll Island Club during the Georgia Press Association’s 138th annual convention. Wade Cheek, the Tribune’s sports editor, earned three awards.

County passes $31.4 million projection

Rabun County Commissioners passed the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 budget in the amount of $31,494,828 during a special called meeting on Tuesday, June 24. The meeting was prior to the regularly scheduled work session and meeting.
