Mr. Willie Lee Mance, son of the late James Johnson of Philadelphia, Pa.., and Icy Moore Mance of Clayton, Ga. was born April 15, 1938 in Clayton Ga. In his passing on December 25, 2020, he joins his brothers James Sullivan Mance of Rockville Centre, N.Y.

Sue Reeves Tidwell Dixon Paulsen, age 94, formerly of Lake Burton, passed away January 3, 2021.  Sue was born in Cedartown, Georgia, the daughter of the late E.C. Reeves and the late Frances Clyde Biggers Tidwell.

Kathryn “Kathy” Lynn, age 85, of Sky Valley, Georgia, passed away on December 31, 2020.  Kathy was a Christian and a member of St. Helena’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, hiking, going to the theater and listening to music.

Dana Lauren Taylor, 55, of Tiger, Ga. passed away on December 29, 2020 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton, Ga.  Born May 10, 1965 in Rabun County, she was the daughter of Samuel Taylor and Sarah Brenda Cathy.

Lucy Elizabeth Speed, 93, of Dillard,  passed away on Monday December 28, 2020 at Mountain View Health Care in Clayton. A graveside service was held at Head of Tennessee Baptist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 30. Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gertrud Richards

Gertrud Richards, 90, of Mountain City,  passed away on Tuesday December 29, 2020 at Mountain View Healthcare in Clayton. A graveside service was held at Rabun Memory Park on Sunday, January 3. Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Dana Taylor, 30-year employee of Rabun County EMS, remembered for kindness, laughter

Dana Taylor spent her entire life in Rabun County and worked for Rabun County Emergency Medical Services as an office manager for 30 years.  She died at age 55 on December 29, 2020 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center.

Tom James Walker

Tom James Walker, age 75, of Alto, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020.  Born on October 28, 1945, in Rabun County, he was the son of the late Porter and Dora Dell Emory Walker and Stepfather Carl Robinson. Mr. Walker served his country in the United States Army and was a truck driver.
