Wallace Crowe, 91, of Seneca, S.C., passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2020, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.   A graveside service was conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at Cherry Hill Church of God Cemetery.

Russell Mark Clark

Russell Mark Clark, 66, of Evening Shade Lane, Clayton, Ga., died Feb. 16, 2020 at his residence. The body has been cremated and the arrangements will be announced at a later date. Hunter Funeral Home is in charge.  

Skip Sells

Skip Sells, aged 75, of Clarkesville, Ga. passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020. Skip was born in Atlanta, Ga. on Jan. 13, 1945, the older son of the late Harold Vernon Sells, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Couch Sells. He grew up in Atlanta and studied at Emory University.

Terry Hollis Tuck

Terry Hollis Tuck, 71, of Clayton, Ga., took his last bicycle ride on Monday, Feb. 17, 2020. He was an avid cyclist, a devoted husband, father, and PaPa, and friend, cheerleader, and coach to everyone he met.

Randolph “Bill” Wilson Reeves

Randolph “Bill” Wilson Reeves, age 85, passed away on Feb. 11, 2020. Bill was born the son of the late James Randolph Reeves and the late Grace Evelyn Scott Reeves on May 26, 1934. Bill was a Christian and a member of the Clayton First United Methodist Church.

Leonard Joseph Flory

Leonard Joseph Flory 81, formerly of Clayton, Ga., passed away at his residence in Franklin, N.C. on Feb. 11, 2020 after a brief illness. He was born on Feb. 8, 1939 in South Mound, Kansas, to Bill and Ann Flory. Leonard spent his childhood years growing up in Independence, Missouri.

Fred Dennis Chamblee

Fred Dennis Chamblee, 72, of the Persimmon Community, went to be with his LORD and Savior Feb. 15, 2020 with family members by his side.  He was born Dec. 15, 1947 at Clayton’s Maternity Home. His parents were the late Fred Verdo “Lit” Chamblee and Zettie Lovell Chamblee.

Doris Mae Dills McCoy

Doris Mae Dills McCoy, 87, of Carnes Road, Tiger, Ga., died Feb. 15, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga. She was the widow of Fred McCoy. Born in Macon, North Carolina June 16, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Franklin Dills and Esther Carpenter Dills.

Nita Carolyn Mosteller Davis

Nita Carolyn Mosteller Davis, age 92, of Clayton, Ga. passed away on Feb. 16, 2020. Nita was born in Florida to the late West Mosteller and the late Helen Riley Mosteller on April 5, 1927. In 1954 she married her late husband Thomas Leo Davis Sr.

Rev. Harold Wesley Houck

Rev. Harold Wesley Houck, 91, passed away on Feb. 10, 2020 at his granddaughter’s home. He was born on July 21, 1928 in Rabun County, Ga. to John and Maude Wilbanks Houck. He was a United States Army veteran and was retired from General Motors as a group leader.
