A Rabun County man died following a tree-cutting accident that occurred in Habersham County Monday, Feb. 6. Leonard Highsmith, 74, of Rabun Gap, died Tuesday, Feb.

Oliver sworn-in as third Mountain Judicial Circuit Superior Court judge

FAITH ball, Soda Fountain gala lead to heart-felt Valentine joy

Two recent events conjured up smiling faces as they showed love to local nonprofits in celebration of Valentine’s Day. The F.A.I.T.H. 23rd annual “Sweetheart Ball” was held at the Rabun County Civic Center on Feb.

Forward Rabun Youth Leadership visits State Capitol

Members of Forward Rabun’s Youth Leadership team traveled to the Georgia State Capitol to visit with local legislators and observe day number 10 of the 2023 session of the Georgia General Assembly on Tuesday, Jan. 31.
